Q1 Begins Second "Ten Tenors" Tour

Australian phenomenon The Ten Tenors will begin a 48 date US tour February 1st, 2006 in Raleigh, North Carolina with lighting supplied by Q1 Production Technologies.

While the group has won fans worldwide for their powerful voices and eclectic repertoire, their live concerts feature dramatic lighting designed to complement the strength of the performers' talent and personalities. On this tour Lighting Designer Peter Kramer is using the latest in lighting technology including 20 Vari-Lite 2500's and 6 Pixeline LED Strips to add an exciting and theatrical dimension to the unforgettable singing.

The ensemble formed in 1995 while the tenors were university students studying for careers in opera. They created and performed their first full-length show in 1998 while still full-time students and began an extensive Australian tour that same year. The group has been together ever since ‚ leaping to international attention as surprise guest artists at 2002's Eurovision Grand Prix.

The tenors have won fans of all ages and musical tastes through their range of classical operatic repertoire, irresistible Italian ballads, and critically acclaimed performances of rock and pop classics ‚ all combined with a heavy dose of unmistakable Australian charm.

The current tour follows a hugely successful European Christmas tour and the release of their album "Tenology ‚ The Best of so Far". The US tour ends mid-April with shows in West Palm Beach, Florida.
